Chris was involved in the launch of Unicorn Jobs in 2007, and oversaw the development of the company’s brand, website and e-bulletins. He also helped devise the internship programme now operated by the Taylor Bennett Foundation and hosted by Unicorn Jobs.
He continues to coordinate Unicorn’s media, editing PR e-bulletin esPResso, managing the Unicorn Jobs website and creating company advertising and literature. He also continues to teach on the internship programme, leading twenty sessions on media, communications and politics.
Chris is also co-founder and Managing Director of UnLimited Media, a content company with specialist knowledge in the music, media, culture and communications industries. He co-created UnLimited’s four media platforms – CMU, CreativeStudent.net, ThreeWeeks and ThisWeek. He continues to oversee the production, marketing and development of those titles, as well as heading up the company’s training, creative and consulting divisions.
Chris is also a journalist, and is Business Editor of CMU, writing about the music, media and copyright industries on a daily basis. Through this work he is regarded as one of the country’s leading experts on the music and media sectors, and regularly comments on both, especially on the BBC.
Chris has an MA in English Language from Edinburgh University, and an LLB Law degree from London Metropolitan University.
