Hello there. These blogs are written by the Brunswick Six.

We are a group of interns who were selected to take part in a special PR (public relations) internship programme after applying and successfully getting through an assessment centre. The team is as follows - Zubair Ahmed, Elaina Ifill, Michael Omudu, Olayinka Olagunju, Avani Patel and Miriam Wachira. We all graduated from the University Of East London this summer and hope to enter the world of public relations.

During the coming weeks we will learn about public relations, the media, business (the City) and will get lots of career advice. Three companies run the internship, Taylor Bennett (headhunting firm in PR and corporate communications), Unicorn Jobs (a sister company to Taylor Bennett specialising in PR and graduate recruitment) and Brunswick (a specialist firm in financial PR and corporate communications).

The internship programme will include workshops, 'field trips', visits from guest speakers and weekly presentation exercises on FTSE companies from different business sectors.

Over the 10-week programme we will blog weekly about our experience.
